Ingredients

  • 1 ozLight Rum
  • 1 ozCoconut Rum
  • 2 ozStrawberries(Fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2Banana(Ripe)
  • 2 ozPineapple Juice
  • 2 ozCoconut Cream(Cream of coconut, like Coco Lopez)

Garnish: Pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry

Instructions

  1. 1Blend the strawberries and 1/2 oz of the rum together until smooth.
  2. 2Pour the strawberry mixture into the bottom of a hurricane glass.
  3. 3Rinse the blender and add the remaining rum, banana, pineapple juice, and coconut cream with 1 cup of ice.
  4. 4Blend the coconut mixture until smooth and creamy.
  5. 5Slowly pour the white coconut mixture into the center of the glass over the strawberry base, allowing the red puree to rise up the sides to create the 'lava' effect.
