Ingredients
- 2 ozdark rum(aged rum preferred)
- 0.5 ozsimple syrup(or demerara syrup for richer flavor)
- 1whole egg(fresh, high-quality egg)
- 0.25 ozheavy cream(optional for extra richness)
Garnish: Freshly grated nutmeg
Instructions
- 1Add rum, syrup, whole egg, and optional cream to a shaker without ice and dry shake hard for about 10 seconds.
- 2Add cubed ice and shake again vigorously until well chilled and frothy.
- 3Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- 4Finish with freshly grated nutmeg on top.
