Ingredients

  • 2 ozBourbon or Rye Whiskey
  • 0.75 ozFresh Lemon Juice
  • 0.5 ozSimple Syrup(Adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 ozEgg White(Optional; adds a rich, frothy texture)
  • 2-3 dashesAngostura Bitters(Garnish on top of foam)

Garnish: Maraschino cherry and an orange half-wheel

Instructions

  1. 1Add whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using) into a cocktail shaker.
  2. 2Dry shake (without ice) for about 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  3. 3Add ice and shake again vigorously until well-chilled.
  4. 4Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
  5. 5Top with dashes of bitters and garnish.
