Ingredients
- 2 ozBourbon or Rye Whiskey
- 0.75 ozFresh Lemon Juice
- 0.5 ozSimple Syrup(Adjust to taste)
- 1/2 ozEgg White(Optional; adds a rich, frothy texture)
- 2-3 dashesAngostura Bitters(Garnish on top of foam)
Garnish: Maraschino cherry and an orange half-wheel
Instructions
- 1Add whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white (if using) into a cocktail shaker.
- 2Dry shake (without ice) for about 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
- 3Add ice and shake again vigorously until well-chilled.
- 4Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- 5Top with dashes of bitters and garnish.
