Ingredients

  • 2 ozRye whiskey or Bourbon
  • 1 ozLemon juice(freshly squeezed)
  • 0.75 ozSimple syrup(1:1 ratio)
  • 0.5 ozRed wine(Shiraz or Malbec for float)
  • 1Egg white(optional, for texture)

Garnish: Lemon wheel or cherry

Instructions

  1. 1Add the whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and optional egg white into a shaker.
  2. 2Dry shake (without ice) vigorously if using egg white to emulsify.
