Ingredients
- 2 ozAged Jamaican Rum(Preferably a blend of pungent Jamaican rums)
- 0.75 ozFresh Lime Juice
- 0.5 ozOrange Curaçao(Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao is recommended)
- 0.25 ozOrgeat Syrup(Almond syrup)
- 0.25 ozRich Simple Syrup(2:1 sugar to water ratio)
Garnish: Spent lime shell and a large sprig of fresh mint
Instructions
- 1Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker with about 2 cups of crushed ice.
- 2Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds to chill and create some dilution.
- 3Pour the entire contents, including the ice, into a double rocks glass.
- 4Top with more crushed ice if needed to fill the glass.
