Hemingway Daiquiri

A sophisticated twist on the classic Daiquiri, famously preferred by Ernest Hemingway at El Floridita in Havana. It swaps sugar for grapefruit juice and maraschino liqueur, resulting in a drier, more complex, and bracingly refreshing cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 2 ozWhite Rum(Ideally a Cuban-style white rum)
  • 0.75 ozFresh Lime Juice
  • 0.5 ozFresh Grapefruit Juice(Ruby red or white grapefruit)
  • 0.5 ozMaraschino Liqueur(Luxardo is the standard)

Garnish: Lime wheel or grapefruit twist

Instructions
