A legendary 'hair of the dog' remedy popularized by Harry Craddock in the 1930s. This equal-parts classic perfectly balances tart citrus, sweet orange liqueur, and aromatized wine, with a haunting herbal finish from the absinthe rinse.

- 0.75 ozLondon Dry Gin
- 0.75 ozLillet Blanc
- 0.75 ozCointreau
- 0.75 ozFresh Lemon Juice
- 1 dashAbsinthe(For rinsing the glass)

Instructions
- 1Rinse a chilled coupe glass with a dash of absinthe, coating the inside, then discard the excess.
- 2Add gin, Lillet Blanc, Cointreau, and lemon juice to a shaker with ice.
- 3Shake vigorously until well-chilled.
- 4Fine strain into the prepared glass.
